The Young African Women Presidential Leadership Capacity Development Fellowship Program is a transformative initiative designed to identify, mentor, and prepare exceptional young women across Africa for future presidential and high-level leadership roles. Rooted in the belief that Africa’s future must be shaped by inclusive, visionary, and ethical leadership, this fellowship equips participants with the skills, networks, and strategic mindset needed to lead nations and institutions with excellence.

About the Program

The Young African Women Presidential Leadership Capacity Development Fellowship Program is now accepting nominations for its inaugural cohort of visionary women leaders. We invite governments, institutions, civil society organizations, and individuals across Africa to nominate outstanding young women who embody the courage, intellect, and integrity required to lead at the highest levels of public service.

Nominee Criteria

Women aged 25–40 from any African country.

Proven leadership experience in public service, civil society, or political engagement.

A clear vision for national transformation and a commitment to ethical governance.
